Description

So, I already posted something else from this job that wound up not being used (the item titled victim mentality).

This is something that was done 30 years ago (which is just chilling on a certain level to me) and it was done in another time. Plus, there were certain directives from the client which I will refrain from talking about (the client that is). Overall though, the thing I took some pride about in doing this job was that I basically did it in a single night with no reference whatsoever.

Maybe that doesn’t seem like much now but there wasn’t any internet back then so any drawing I did I just hammered out and I was on a deadline, it HAD to get done. Back then I was living in a single room at a Y and I just sat down after work, got out the set of prismacolor markers I had and went at it.

A confession, I reset the word balloons because they were truly hideous. The scans I made were off of yellowing newsprint copies that I had and not originals.
