DescriptionI have always considered Mage of Matt Wagner one of my top 5 books in the 80s, together with DKR, Watchmen, Daredevil Born Again, and Swamp Thing. To be able to acquire the cover to this first issue was definitely my happiest purchase in over 15 years of comic art collecting.My heartfelt thanks to Felix for letting this one go, one of the great guys in this hobby. Loved Mage also - just retrieved my limited edition hardcovers from a 25 year old moving box - milestone cover!

*Sniff* Glad I can come visit this. 99% of the time with offers, don't care about anyone's personal story, because it usually means very little, ultimately. Ultimately, take your shot and save the rest. But in this case...truly glad the art is going to a good, worthy home. Thanks, Jaime.

GOOD HEAVENS! As far as classic pieces go, it doesn't get much "classic-er" than this! Wow - what a stellar pick up. Your Matt Wagner collection was incredible before, but this vaults it up to Arthurian proportions. I honestly don't mean to sink to the bad pun, but sincere congratulations on acquiring what sounds like one of your key grails.

Holy wow! This is such a historic piece. You can see exactly Matt was headed with this series.
