This is a grail for me. Every time I think about Gary Frank, Superman immediately comes to my mind. Some of the best Man of Steel stories in recent years was under Gary's pencil. The way he draws him is hard to describe. The line work is so clean, the ink is so smooth, the poses are so iconic. But above all, his Superman looks so full of hope. Which is exactly what Superman is all about. He brings hope.
