That cityscape is breathtaking, and Nowlan's inks are killer. I need to see this in person sometime soon. Big congrats!

Breathtaking DPS by Bryan Hitch and Kevin Nowlan! Gorgeous image of Batman looking out over Gotham City. I love how photorealistic the city looks here. Batman appears majestic here, his cape fully extended as it flaps in the wind. Hitch's Batman is more muscular and more athletic than some draw him. He looks like he could take on a room full of thugs and come out on top. Nowlan's inks are superb match for Hitch's pencils. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!

Thank you, Bill! I love how Nowlan inked Hitch here without overpowering him. As you note, the Hitch Batman is more muscular than the typical Batman of say, Jim Aparo. But Hitch makes it work somehow, with help from Nowlan.
