Hand-painted Blue-Line original color art. The black & white original art, drawn by MIKE MIGNOLA was photographed, a film negative made and the positive image printed in light blue on 10" X 12 1/4" Crescent No. 100 Illustration Board, while the same image was made into a film positive and laid over the top. The Blue line art was then painted, in watercolor and gouache by LINDA LESSMANN. This original painted art was then screened in blue (cyan), yellow and red (magenta) in preparation for plate making. The black line is not screened but printed in solid black line separately. This is not what is known as a "color guide" or "color indication."

The art is signed by Linda Lessmann (Reinhold).
