DescriptionER Burroughs wrote a book called Cave Girl. That is not this character. She first appeared in an issue of Thun'da and then serving as a backup for several issues before staring in her own series for four issues from Magazine Enterprises between 1953 and 1954 All interior and cover art for the character was by Bob Powell.This story is not her first appearance, but appeared in the first issue of her solo series and basically told her origin. Pretty much like Tarzan, the only child of explorers who survived in the jungle when her parents were killed. Like many of her counterparts, Cave Girl wore only a skimpy fur that looked like a bathing suit. Over the few years, she appeared the Comics Code stepped in and changed her costume this several times and while it slowly covered more of her, it was still rather alluring. Social/Sharing |

Great splash and a very nice story. I know, I used to own it.
