Description

Two sided, folded 16" x 21" print by the Screen Cartoonists "For our gals and guys in the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, and Marines." It's a collection of 22 military and pinup-themed cartoons created to send to GI's around the holidays. They includes gags by noted animation/cartoon greats such as Bill Justice, Preston Blair, Gil Turner, Manny Gould, Cal Dalton, Ray Patin, and Warren Foster. This GI mailing was addressed to Staff Sgt. Charles McKimson, Corp Lo Guarnier, Herman Cohen, SCPG (Anim) 35 - 113th and the rest of the boys and is postmarked Nov. 20, 1943 from Los Angeles, California.
