DescriptionI hope to add more children's book art to my gallery but I was happy to add this piece by one of my favorite children book illustrators, Richard Scary. As a kid I would read his busy world books over and over again. I wasn't able to get something from that work but this I felt was pretty special as it was part of the Little Golden Book series of books. It is a beautiful painted page from a story about a little boy who just wanted a pony.In his extraordinary career, Richard Scarry illustrated more than 150 books, many of which have never been out of print. His books have sold over 100 million copies around the world and are currently published in more than twenty languages. Awesome to see a Richard Scarry piece on here, wonderful painted piece and find. Lots of early nostalgia with his work.
