Description

Incredible rendition of the Quality Comics character Firebrand by the amazing Jerry Ordway, sketched on a blank page in the Plastic Man Archives Volume 1. Along with Plastic Man, Phantom Lady and others, Firebrand made his debut in Police Comics 1.

No one can do justice to the golden age characters quite like Jerry Ordway. This sketch was based on illustrations by the character's co-creator and one of the greatest artists of the golden age, Reed Crandall, and is one of several Quality sketches I've commissioned in my copies of Police Comics Archives.
