DescriptionThis Dale Keown set of 5 try out pages are likely among the earliest images of the Hulk that Keown ever drew. Keown is one of the most prominent and popular Hulk artists of the Modern era and his run with writer Peter David in the Incredible Hulk series ranks among the most admired in the history of the character. Keown's work on the Hulk is widely collected and these pages were found in a storage locker that contained several pieces of Keown's earliest work on the character. The try out pages are accompanied by an official Marvel Try Out book that is incomplete. The pages are clearly early in Keown's development as an artist, yet even at this early stage, Keown's distinct style can still be seen in a raw, unpolished way.
