Description

Scott Kolins had a great run on Legion of Super-Heroes back in the late 90's, and later came back to draw a few issues of the New 52 run. I am a huge fan of Scott's art, and he always delivers awesome commissions, so of course I asked him to draw on one of my Legion blank sketch covers. I asked Scott to draw Brainiac 5 because I always dug Scott's take on Brainy, and wanted to see him draw the newest version of my favorite Coluan. And Scott drew this incredible commission for me! First, I love Brainy here. he's isolating himself in his force field, and in deep contemplation, no doubt solving some problem that no one else can. Scott did an outstanding job on Brainiac 5's new costume, I love the folds and shading in the clothes. And look at all of that circuitry around him! That looks amazing! Huge thanks to Scott for delivering yet another fantastic commission to me!

This came out great and is a nice of example of an artist exhibiting the essence of a character in a piece - I love that in commissions. Nice pose choice with a concentrated expression and I too dig that circuitry! Congrats!
