This androgynous character shares a ressemblance with Mark from Battle of the Planets, but long before we met him and his fellow bird-related Japanese friends, there was this guy, who was alien to our Earth, Pilot of the the giant robot Grendizer, and a prince to boot! Every girl watching the show back in the 70's was in love with the boy...

Yeah, and every boy watching the show back in the 70's was pretty jealous... I mean, a nice looking lad, playing in the sky with a big toy and dating a gorgeous farm girl... Who wouldn't be envious?
