"Blast providence-- and super heroes!"

This is the fourth page of original art in my collection from the first comic I ever bought as a kid... Marvel Two In One # 76, featuring the Thing and Iceman battling the Ringmaster and his evil Circus of Crime.

I am adding a new page from this book to my gallery every 3.25 years, so let's beat the rush by wishing future me a HUGE congratulations for landing that elusive last page of art from this comic in 2069. Yay, me!

This page recaps the tragic origin of the Ringmaster (Maynard Tiboldt), the formation of the Circus of Crime and early, unsuccessful encounters with the Hulk (Incredible Hulk #3), Spider-Man (Amazing Spider-Man #16) and Daredevil (#118).

The markings on the front and back of this page show a progression of asking prices of $15, $95 and $200 thru the years.

Panel 5 was cutout, moved down and taped back in place to make room for the top narration box. The trimmed art was taped to the back of the drawing. The image at far right is a digital recreation of panel 5 with that original half centimetre of original art restored to Ringmaster's hat. (You are welcome.)

I admire your tenacity and your creativity in hunting pages & having the story reworked by other artists, I scour the internet daily searching for an Avengers 26 page to buy, so I know the joy & frustration of the process. Great find. Congratulations
