Description

Dan's fantasy work was what drew me to commissioning this piece. He shared with me that he grew up reading the novels as well and blew away all expectations - as high as they already were - when he showed me the final.

I loved how Larry Elmore hid Kitiara's identity on the cover of Dragon's of Winter Night, only subtly hinting at the female form under the dragon highlord armor so that's what I requested of Dan. He executed this to perfection.

I still remember Sturm's final battle so vividly. Poor guy and he had such a killer stache.
