DescriptionDan's fantasy work was what drew me to commissioning this piece. He shared with me that he grew up reading the novels as well and blew away all expectations - as high as they already were - when he showed me the final.I loved how Larry Elmore hid Kitiara's identity on the cover of Dragon's of Winter Night, only subtly hinting at the female form under the dragon highlord armor so that's what I requested of Dan. I still remember Sturm's final battle so vividly. Poor guy and he had such a killer stache.
