Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Prelim 01

A dear friend that sadly passed away four years ago got me interested in Doctor Who in 2005, and I'm glad she did. Since then I've often thought about trying my hand at ONE of the recent Doctors. So imagine my surprise that I got a commission for The Tenth Doctor, played by David Tennant? The composition is simple so I can handle the workload besides this one. The Doctor looking cool with a sunset behind him leaning against The TARDIS. It's also an experiment in light and shadow and as you can see - on this 9 x 12" with inks - I'm accentuating the pinstripe pattern on his suit slightly. If not for the color rendering this would be an awesome chance at a negative space study. More as it develops. Allon-sy. Anne-Marie, this one's for you.
