Description

A Jack Kirby page from Silver Star. A comic written, designed and drawn by Jack Kirby himself. It's a story that plays on classic good and evil with a disturbing villian that has some influences from his own time in War as a soldier. The name "Silver Star" itself is from the name of a Military Medal and this page is 11 panels which is quite unique and has a diatribe from the main villain of the story. Rather than an "action page" this is an "acting page". Proud to have it in my collection. You can still see Jack Kirby's original pencils behind parts of the ink and can tell that his original pencils had larger word bubbles than the inked version in many of the panels.
