Gorgeous and unique piece!  

I was immediately attracted to this piece, so unusual in that it's peaceful and contemplative, almost 'domestic' in its feel, which seems particularly appropriate for Dr. Strange, a scholar in his sanctum. Maybe it's due to my aging, that I find this a refreshing change from the usual heroic posturing , sense of threat, or violence of the majority of popular commissions you see. Congratulations on trading for a lovely piece you'll never let go of!

This is just downright lovely. 

Absolutely sensational.  Like, literally causing sensations - of the sting of cool winter breezes and the relief of a warm chair.  I love that the focal point of the whole piece is a fire in the hearth, and I find myself staring into the paint and colors just as I would a "real" fire.  I hear the crackling of embers.  (More of those darn sensations.)  Great story about the art trade, too!  Well-played all around, sir!

You have moments where you feel like you've seen every kind of image of a character, and then you see something that makes you go, "Well, I haven't seen that before!".
