Outstanding page from an outstanding book, and your description of the amalgam of styles she has synthesized into something so uniquely her own is spot on. I'd add Jaime Hernandez to that mix...?

Super cool pick up. LOVED this pocket of pages at this point in the narrative, with the passage of time, how trapped the character felt, the freedom represented by the pigeons, etc. Firing on all cylinders - sequential storytelling at its finest! Great example of that here!
