This is a great piece. Congrats! The Checkmate logo did its job too because seeing it now jolted the whole thing back into memory from decades ago.

You have such a brilliant eye for images with movement - it's like if you placed this piece above the Batman Steve Rude, you have created a true connection to the whirling dervish nazis of the boat on that piece - and facial expression has the exact same calm demeanour that lets you KNOW they are the Worlds Finest,

checkmate indeed, well done and then some.
