Description
Cover for an upcoming trade paperback from Moonstone Comics. Kolchak was a favorite TV show of mine in the 70's, and was the inspiration for The X-Files many years later. 11"x17" on dbl thick illustration board.

I remember the episode where a vampire was killing famous people and was fronting as an escort. He went to a rental house in the hills and he had that cross with him! Well, atleast your cover brought me back to that episode in a blink of an eye! I love and I agree, the pulp retro feel brings out a classic feel to it yet modern at the same time. In short, I LOVE THIS!, right up there with the wolverine on the statue of liberty. Well, ok, it's further up there than that.

The BEST Kolchak cover! Great design, colors... everything is perfect. Pulpy, yes - but it reminds me of a Marvel magazine cover from the past that I would have remembered drooling over and inspiring me over and over.
