Action Comics #621 Cover (1988) Joe Orlando Cover Production Art featuring Blackhawk

Right after Howard Chaykin revitalized Blackhawk in his mini-series the team got their own feature again after many years in the new 'weekly' Action Comics. This issue was their turn to oust Superman from his normally predominant place as the cover feature.

"Hawk-a-a-a!" Veteran comic book illustrator and former DC Vice President, Joe Orlando illustrates this cover featuring the Blackhawks leader. Consists entirely of photostats mounted to DC bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". No original art is included. In Excellent condition.

Back of the page shows the production notes indicating its publication usage. Please be aware that although this was used to make the comic it does NOT contain original artwork.
