Milton Caniff virtually reinvented adventure strip cartooning with his bold use of shadows, black areas, and "impressionistic" forms. Created in ink and blue wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20" x 5.5". Light toning, marginal soiling, smudging, and edge wear. In Very Good condition.
