Description

This prime era John Buscema/Tom Palmer Avengers #97 (1972) page 10 comes from the epic finale of perhaps the most famous comic book story of the early 1970s, "The Kree-Skrull War". It features the Timely AKA Golden Age Marvel heroes pulled from the past by Rick Jones battling Ronan the Accuser and his Kree minions. The Timely heroes include the "Big Three" Captain America, the Sub-Mariner and the Human Torch. Plus we see the Patriot in action, a character not seen since the Golden Age. We also get glimpses of the Blazing Skull, the Fin and the Golden Age Vision.
