Description

Some band art that I won off eBay. Here's the description:
Original artwork from 2000 by Ale Garza for the Album Poppin' Wheelies. Poppin' Wheelies was a band started up by Gin Blossoms front man Robin Wilson with Tommy Keene. It was a follow up on Wilson's Gas Giants band. Garza did the artwork for the album and this was an associated piece for the comic book themed concept of the band that travelled the universe in an RV and played intergalactic concerts. The combination of Manga and American influences hits the right tone for what the band wanted to convey in their pop alt rock album. Garza shows his attention to detail in his character design and range of expressiveness for the futuristic looks seen through a 2000's lens.
