Adventure Comics No. 67 Cover Recreation with Starman

Jack Burnely did VERY FEW cover recreations. This one was done in 1975 for Jerry Bails, one of the early collectors of and writers on AllStar Comics.

When I was still practicing law, probably in the early 1990s, I woke up one day with excruciating pain running from my low back down into my right leg. I could barely move, but I had a deposition of one of my clients that I had to attend about 50 miles from my home. With great difficulty I managed to get there. Despite all the distractions, I still managed to get to a private conference room and to buy this piece at a Hake's auction by asking that we take a short break in the middle of the deposition. I have always been good at knowing the highest priorities in life!
