Description

An original painting by John Garvin. 16x20 inches, oil on Masonite. During his painting career Barks completed over 20 scenes of the ducks inside Scrooge's money bin, all of which contained roughly the same elements: mountains of coins, a gold or bronze archway, stacks of treasure and Scrooge and the boys happily engaged in one activity or another.

This painting is taken from a couple of panels from Uncle Scrooge No. 7, which show Scrooge taking a coin bath with help from his butler.
