Description

Here is my first animation cel from the Disney classic that put them on the map: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937!). I have always liked dopey so I was glad to get a decent size cel of dopey but this exact shot from the "Silly Song" is extra special. It gives us a look inside the dark past of Disney with its stereotypical and racist imagery that would not air today. This serves as an important memory of what once was and is a product of its time.
