DescriptionBagley Week, Day Three!Tonight I'm happy to share with you TWO Thunderbolts pieces, one from 1997 and one from 2016. This page is from the original series, and it features the entire team: Citizen V, Atlas, Mach-1, Meteorite, Songbird and Techno. The concept of the Thunderbolts was just great. The Avengers and Fantastic Four were presumed dead after the "Onslaught" crossover. As it turns out, they were merely trapped in a pocket universe created by Franklin Richards, but the world didn't know that, and new heroes were needed to fill the void. And who filled that heroic void? A group of villains who were secretly the Masters of Evil, led by Baron Zemo as Citizen V. It was a great plot twist carefully guarded by Marvel. There have been a lot of different T-Bolts teams over the years (Norman Osborn even formed one in 2007), but I have a soft spot for this original team, and I loved reading these early issues. Really nice action page and from the first issue to boot. I've not seen the issue, but given that this is in your collection I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess this is one of the, if not THE, nicest page in the book! I've long heard about the T-Bolts concept and always thought it sounded cool, but have never read any. I think it's time to see if I can track down the first TPB collecting the start of this series and give it a try.

Really liking this one. Rivals and surpasses some covers. And when it comes to team books you can't beat OA with the whole team on display and in action! Dynamic splash there with some great poses. Congrats, Paul!
