DescriptionLegends of the Dark Knight 100-Page Super Spectacular #1 Cover Original Art (February 2014). This book collects what was published digitally first as "Legends of the Dark Knight" chapters 42-47 and 49-50. It contains 2 stories, "Without Sin" and "Dr. Quinn's Diagnosis". The cover, done by David Antoine Williams, depicts a Batman appearing ready to jump off and soar from a building as he watches over his city, rain falling around him. I love this depiction of Batman, classic yet modern. His cape spread wide, ready for impending action, really finishes it off for me. Done on 11" X 17" art board in pen and ink.Social/Sharing |

Yep, as you and Ruben have said (and others alluded to), the contrast here is stunning. I get lost in it when looking at it. Ironically I liked it but didn't necessarily love it when I first got it, but it has really grown on me over time, to the point of really loving it!
