I've loved the Brothers Hildebrandt's work since I was a kid and collected the Marvel Masterpieces card set. Hopefully, one day, I can add one of their beautiful paintings to my collection. When I found out that Tim had passed, I was saddened, but Greg continues to put out nice pieces to this day. For now, I'm thankful to have this cool Red Sonja piece, which is a preliminary sketch for the cover of Red Sonja # 1 Commemorative (Special) Edition, which reprints Marvel's Red Sonja # 1. It's an homage of the Brothers' original Star Wars poster from 1977. Greg was selling these prelims online during the onset of COVID-19 in the U.S., since most conventions were cancelled. I was excited to scoop one up.
