The last page of the Cosmic Boy mini series. Publishe March 1987
The events of lead to the multi-part epic Death of Superboy saga.

The Time Trapper gloats in his lair with the statue of Krypto and Superboy in the background.

But wait - Superboy & Krypto are stats - what is the story behind the stat?

Behind the Stat is revealed a statue of Supergirl!

Post Crisis, not only she did not exist, but she never existed, so the statue could not exist.

It would be interesting to find out from Paul Levitz ( the writer of the story) what he was thinking. One can speculate that he thought that since the Time Trapper had mastery of Time, that if one person in the universe could have a Supergirl statue, it would be him.

Or perhaps this was a way to bring Supergirl back when the time was right.

But it was not to be.
