Minutemen Comics #21, 1943, homage to Justice League Of America issue #21

Latest of my occasional "Bronze Age Covers That Should Have Been" commissions, based on the idea that Moore and Gibbons did apparently consider a Minutemen series as a follow-up / spin-off to Watchmen --- and given the tendency Moore demonstrated to homage earlier covers in the Supreme series, it didn't seem out of the question that JLA #21 might have been the inspiration for a Minutemen cover.

PS: I can never avoid a visual pun, so substituting Captain Metropolis for Metropolis' best known super-hero was too good to miss. 😉
