After seeing a few of Alex's commissions online, and loving the funky, organic style I had a thought in my head to take some of my favorite lyrics from my favorite Foo Fighters songs and have Alex do a trio of pieces showing the evolution of Dave Grohl throughout the over two decades of Foo Fighters creating musical magic.

This is their earliest big hit "Everlong" and a lyric that has stuck with me since I first heard it over 20 years ago.

"If everything could ever feel this real forever....If anything could ever be this good again. "

Back then it felt like it was about love and loss, or dreams and reality, and all these year's later it feels like it's about nostalgia and getting older. Regardless, I wonder if Grohl realized at the time he was creating something timeless.

The video for the song is a classic too.....THE GIANT HAND.
