Description

No shock to anyone that I have yet another Moy piece. However this one bears the distinction of being my very *first* Dejah Thoris! I think I read ERB's "A Princess Of Mars" back when I was 12 or 13, so we're talking decades here, and I have always been thoroughly in love with the setting, the characters, the imagery, just everything about the tales of John Carter and the most beautiful woman on Mars, er, Barsoom - Dejah Thoris. I pre-arranged this sketch with Jeff for the 2005 Mid-Ohio Con, to be picked up buddy Mike Fogg - thanks again for picking up this little lovely for me Mike! I gave Jeff a few parameters on this one - like in the books, tons of jewelry and basically nude, although I did request the loincloth thingie as I try to keep the collection in the PG-13 to R range. He fulfilled everything I could possibly want in a Dejah sketch! Thanks Jeff! Pencils on 11" x 14" Bristol.
