DescriptionContinuing with my week of Humberto Ramos Spidey interiors, tonight I am posting two pages from the fantastic "Hunted" storyline that ran through Amazing Spider-Man vol 5 #16-23(LGY #817-824). Humberto's artwork throughout the saga was just amazing. In this story, Kraven captures all the animal-themed villains and plops them all into Central Park, where they are hunted by Hunter Robots that are being controlled by a bunch of wealthy Fat Cats who are not even on site. On this page, the Hunterbots wreak deadly destruction by killing Gazelle, Mad Dog and Bison. But don't you worry, the Bot controllers get some just desserts later on. In fact, my other post tonight shows just how (cue ominous music --- dn dn DNNNNN!) Spidey is in the thick of things, and he does what he can by grabbing Gibbon and trying to get him out of the line of fire. In true Spidey fashion, he quips "I've told you before, Gibbon -- Always look BOTH ways before crossing the Hunter Killer Robot Clone Things!" Social/Sharing |
