Simon Bisley - Death Dealer - Pg1

This together with Pg27 has been one of my latest acquisitions; the whole deal had gone on & off for years 😂 & I am glad the deal has finally materialised

When the pages of this book were being 1st available on the market; they were being offered from different sources
A collector whom I respect a lot had attempted to buy the whole book, so literally taking up any of the pages available on the market - whether they are from comic dealers, or on ebay or other auctions

As for me, I was shocked with bewilderment by his moves & at the same time excited about this project of his
I believe he got over 2/3 of the book at one point ; till he so decided to let them go ;

DD has always been my favourite character - Bisley , needless to say my favourite artist
As for the DD book, i would actually wish that it was done in colour - as can see that Bisley did enjoy this project & made a lot of his interpretation of the great Frazetta’s works

In any case - I love almost all the splash pages of this book (& this book has many of them 😂) & much grateful to the gentleman who sold me this 2 pages & also Pg 3 some years back

I again wish to pay my respect to this gentleman for his love in this character (& Bisley’s woks) ; & he has made something very special for this purchase for me , thanks again
