Description
I just love this crime series from Brubaker and Phillips. The mood and storytelling in Phillips's pages are superb, IMO. His early Criminal pages are great, but smaller than most modern comic art, and much of his more recent work is all digital, but Criminal Series 3 pages like this one are full size. Here we see an apparition of Teeg, my favorite character from this series, appearing before his wayward son Ricky in the Undertow bar WC. Thanks for taking a look!

This is really well done. That last panel is so nice, and I love how his preliminary lines and work extend past the border, showing his process. I'm going to check this series out. Great pages! Congrats

Film noir meets horror flick. Terrifying page from Brubaker and Phillips. Stunner.
