Kurt Vonnegut likened the Friedman Bros., Josh, Alan, and Drew, to the musical Gershwins -- with Drew's artwork corresponding to George Gershwin's melodies and Josh's scenarios matching up with Ira Gershwin's lyrics. Here is a benchmark of the early Friedman style, a tale of a festive night gone awry as a consequence of entertainment overkill and digestive distress.
