Description

I was lucky enough to add this great piece to my collection. Lady Liberty shaking hands with Charles Linbergh congratulating him on his historic flight with images of The American flag in the background, along with the bald eagle, the Spirit of St.Louis in the upper right area, and a cheering crowd at his feet. Such patriotism! Measures 22" by 28" and has a copyright date of 1927. I'm wasn't able to find the published art but from the title at bottom, I'm guessing sometime in July of 1927. Just a great example of Dan Smith's work.
