Dino, I INSIST you delete the word "cameo" in your title! The Silver Surfer is right there, smack dab in the middle of the action, shown in full figure including his board. If Sal had drawn the Surfer's head peeking out from behind a boulder, THAT would be a legit cameo appearance. Here he's in all his dynamic, Sal Buscema illustrated glory! To the word "cameo", I say thee nay! (And congratlations!)
Sorry everyone, but I have to "grail" this one. I don't like to use that word a lot, because people use it too much. But I just can't help it. One of the VERY best team shots from the entire run. And the next time somebody calls Sal the "little brother", just send them a link to this piece. WOW!!!!!

Dino, wow, a Bronze Age masterpiece drawn and inked by Sal Buscema at the height of his powers. Sal was one of the master draftsmen of the 1970s, who finally escaped from Big John’s shadow only recently. I always saw Sal’s immense talent as an artist and as an inker as plain as daylight. It took many others decades to finally see what I saw. I started reading comics in 1972 and at that time Sal Buscema drew many of my favorite comics, Captain America, The Defenders, Marvel Team-Up and Marvel Two-In-One. That period of the early 70s was the true Golden Age for a lot of young guys my age. Congrats on a spectacular purchase> I will come back often to gander at this gem cover. Bravo.
