DescriptionI have been trying to track down pages from Uncanny X-men #266 for well over a decade now and haven't been very fruitful. This year I reached out to Mike Collins directly and struck up a conversation. He long since sold the pages off but said he had a recreation of the first page Gambit appeared on in 266 and would I be interested in that. I do not tend to collect recreations so at first I passed without seeing it. But then I bought one of the pencil prelim pages for this issue from someone else and decided to see what Mike's recreation looked like to make a more informed decision. He sent me this scan and I was floored and too happy to buy it. I will likely never get a chance to own this actual first page of Gambit's first appearance so this was a happy consolation prize I guess. :)Social/Sharing |
