1961 DENNIS THE MENACE ORIGINAL FRAME TRAY PUZZLE PAINTED ART

Stunning and rare early 1960's Original Painted Art for the Dennis The Menace Frame Tray Puzzle. This is for the classic 1961 Puzzle image of Dennis living up (or down?) to his reputation as a constant trouble-maker, making a mess in the kitchen! The piece measures approximately 8 1/4" by 10 3/8". It looks like the top layer of the art might have been skimmed off of a backing board previously, and I have attached a scan of the back of the piece so you can see what I mean. There is also a scan of the puzzle, which is included with the art, and measures approximately 8" by 10". The colors are stunning and vibrant, and I believe this features the real-life TV sitcom version of Dennis. This is a rare grail level piece for a Dennis The Menace collector. It would make a truly magnificent showpiece, particularly with the art and puzzle framed side by side.
