Ballard, Mitch - Wonder Girls!

I don't even remember the occasion - one day my wife, Dennisse, calls me at work and tells me she wants me to spend $50 on artwork - I must have done something sweet that I just can't remember! It just so happened that a local artist that I really like, Mitch Ballard, was running an auction for two-character commissions that week, so I scarfed one up. I'd been contemplating going with some two-character themed commissions, and this was going to be the test run. Been a huge fan of original Wonder Girl, Donna Troy, since I picked up my first issue of Wolfman/Perez New Teen Titans (#5, if I recall correctly), and over the course of the Young Justice comic, I got to be a big fan of current WG Cassie Sandsmark, so a "Wonder Girls"-themed commission seemed right up Mitch's alley since his artwork is so Perez-esque. I told him Donna in the red jumpsuit and Cassie in the modified version that she wears in the current Titans comic, and this is what he came up with. I'm already making plans for more commissions with Mitch - he's fast, friendly, and I think he draws wonderfully. Pencil on 11x17 Bristol.
