DescriptionI was one of the lucky ones who started reading Fables on day one. Taking characters I've known my whole life and turning them on their heads was a wonderful ride for 150 issues. (And a couple of spin-offs and one shots.)However I was not lucky enough, or smart enough, to grab a James Jean cover from the series when they were available and affordable. (The only piece I was able to pick up was a great Snow/Bigby panel page – and I thought that would be that.) This painting is likely the closest I will ever get to owning a published cover from the series. The 2011 print was sold at 2011 SDCC – I believe for the Hero Initiative. And it features Bufkin, one of my favorite Fables characters. I'm a sucker for a monkey. Social/Sharing |
