DescriptionThis recent relaunch of Hellblazer got canceled, but not before we were able to enjoy some fantastic art by Matias Bergara. This issue features the first appearance of Tommy Willowtree, who has been filling in as England's guardian while John Constantine has been absent. Tommy is all clean-living, vegan-organic and, of course, this annoys Constantine and adds some nice humor to their interaction.On this page, Tommy casts a spell to save Constantine from some "gnome-elementals" made out of poop. Gross, but the dramatic gray and black ink wash applied by Bergara make this a lovely page artistically. Social/Sharing |
