Description

The Hero Initiative uses Drink and Draws like this one on December 30, 2020 to raise money. They get a number of artists to participate, sell slots for $50, and assign buyers to artists randomly. Kathy and I contribute to the HI regularly and this seemed like a fun way to donate. The listed artists were:

Dan Brereton
Ryan Dunlavey
Tom Fowler
Cully Hamner
Gabe Hardman
Phil Hester
Jamal Igle
Ibrahim Moustafa
Mike Oeming
Jules Rivera
Walt Simonson
Taki Soma

We were allowed to choose our subjects. So, I offered three ideas:

Sugar and Spike doing something
Supergirl arm wrestling
A member of the Legion of Super-heroes doing something.

and added that if none of those worked, it could be the artist's choice.

I was assigned to Ibrahim Moustafa. I met Ibrahim some years ago at Portland's Rose City Comic Con, but there's no way he would remember that!

I'm very happy with his choice, but I was sorta hoping for a Simonson Sugar and Spike. :)
