FANTASTIC FOUR #11 Pg 4 (1962) RECREATION Kirby/Ayers HAZLEWOOD

Rendered over printed bluelines with the lettering printed in black (and red for the title) and then touched up with ink. 11 x 17 on Bristol board. Based on the original art for FANTASTIC FOUR #11 (1962) Page 4 by JACK KIRBY and DICK AYERS.

I tried to make the Thing a bit more detailed in some places than he was on the original. I spent extra time on this since it wasn't a cover. In some panels on the original he is a bit simplified. I wish 'floaters' would quit getting right in my line of vision!! Great memories of discovering the FF issues I had missed.
