Description
Colan/Everett Black Widow art from Amazing Adventures #'s 3-5 is the unruly passion of my collecting hobby. However, there are only thirty of those pages, and there are forty Colan/Everett pages from Captain America #136 and 137. I have a near-fanatical amour fou for the art in these two Cap stories, as well.

Some people collect coins, some collect stamps
Some people collect antiques and Tiffany lamps
Some people collect vintage baseball cards
But I like Colan/Everett art

Some people go to parties and talk to girls
Some people like to travel around the world
Some people went to college, because they're smart
But I like Colan/Everett art

Some people hit the gym and lift some weights
Some people eat vegetables off their plates
Some people don't have plaque around their heart
But I like Colan/Everett art

Some people have friends and know their names
Some people have TVs and video games
Some people have wives they call sweetheart
But I like Colan/Everett art

Some people use knives and spoons and forks
Some people don't sleep underneath the porch
Some people wear shoes that don't fall apart
But I like Colan/Everett art

Yes, I like Colan/Everett art

Cap #136 and #137 are very special issues with sublime Everett inks.  Every panel here is beautiful, but I really like the elegance of the final two panels.  Great storytelling by Gene there.  I'll be so sad when January/Colanuary is over!

I'd like to keep it going through February and March! I'm trying to keep my expectations low, but I also keep several shovels, pickaxes and sluicepans strapped to my burro, in case I stumble upon any rich veins of untapped Colan/Everett deposits I know are out there, somewhere!

Some people live in the town

Some people live in the city

Denying Sean Colan and Everett art

Surely would seem such a pity.

(P.S. Whatever happened to Drake Tungsten?)

Back in 2005 when I first started on CAF, I would get spam anytime I used my real name online, and also, my U.S. family didn't know about my Canada family. So, I used "Drake Tungsten" from a Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode, not knowing that most CAF spam is me cold-emailing strangers about NFS artwork.

I admit to feeling a little nervous about changing my CAF account name. But, if it makes it easier for people to find my house, push out my air conditioner and make off with my Kirby/Sinnott FF #48 pages... well, I never really had a legally enforceable claim to them, myself!

You have Kirby FF #48 pages?  Hidden beneath a stack of all the other missing artwork? Good grief. With those as leverage you can get all The Everett and Colan artwork you could ever desire. Are the FF pages hidden under the stash of stolen Ditko Spider-Man art which has never surfaced? Lol. Oh, wait, they are hidden in paranoid US collectors safes, under beds, or more esoteric hiding spots as they quiver in fear of being robbed, while clutching their gun in one hand and panic button or phone in the other.

Gorgeous inks, seeing Colan/Everett do their take on Falcon and Spidey is awesome.  Makes me feel like a dummy for debating with myself over this page when it surfaced over the years!

p.s. I kinda miss Drake Tungsten too.
