King Britain and Excalibur claim the "Iron" Throne

I've been kicking around the idea of a Captain Britain "Iron" Throne commission for a while now, but wasn't sure which artist I wanted to tackle it. Not that it was a necessity, but I had it in mind that an artist from England would truly due the character justice. I finally got spurred into action by a recent Etrigan/Batman commission that David Hitchcock did for my friend Brian Jones. David has done some amazing commission pieces that you may have taken notice of here on CAF and won the "Favourite Black & White Comic Book – British" Eagle Award for his book Springheeled Jack. David is fantastic to work with and while I gave him Captain Britain as an option for a character, I also gave him Nightcrawler. David decided to do both and add in a few additional members of Excalibur for good measure. He also made the choice to go with the Earth-X version of Brian Braddock, King Britain, to more fully realize my theme and since he was going there; why not use pieces of the Iron Avengers to create the throne?
